You guys were the most professional, competent, organized brokerage team I have ever seen. We do not have an analog to this in Chicago. I would recommend you to anybody, and I regret that for even one fleeting minute last year I was actually considering [another real estate team].
Thank you for everything. I was going to recommend that the title agent leave a tip on the brokerage statement, but I got tied up in a series of meetings and forgot. I will have to make it up to you.
I highly recommend the mother-daughter team of Betsy & Marsha Schuman. Not only were they were both knowledgeable about our property and the ever-changing housing market but they also gave us the best customer service and were always available by either phone or email to address our needs. Before our house was ready to be put back on the market, both Betsy and Marsha had excellent suggestions and were able to provide us with the right people to do the work. Thank you for making our transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible.
My husband and I lived in Potomac for almost 45 years, and when we decided to move to Florida, we considered Marsha Schuman and one other top agent to list our home. Marsha was both professional and personable. She has solid systems in place for pricing and marketing. She brought in a professional interior designer who made suggestions for staging our home (our home was fully furnished, but he suggested several changes, which really helped).
The real estate market was extremely busy this past spring, but Marsha persisted in chasing down an excellent photographer for the photo shoot and floor plan. Her description of the architectural features of our home and the brochure she produced were top-notch. She leveraged the marketing engine WFP has in place and advertised our home on a variety of media platforms.
We had a lot of artwork in our home, and Marsha was very cognizant of that. She did not put our home on lockbox, and, instead, took the time to escort each interested party through the house herself.
She gave us detailed feedback after each showing.
Leaving our home and state after so many decades was a very emotional experience for us, and Marsha made the entire process very smooth and stress-free for us.
As for pricing, Marsha conducted a statistical analysis by bringing in agents from her office, and the price was fixed based on their input. Our house sold for 15% more than the price given by the other top agent.
For all the above reasons, we heartily recommend Marsha Schuman!
Marsha was the listing agent for the house that we bought in Bethesda. She was most professional, calm, and understanding when our loan got postponed for a week. She worked with us patiently, and we closed the deal. We were so comfortable working with her that we listed our house with her after closing our Bethesda home. Highly recommend her services. With so many, many years of experience, Marsha is most knowledgeable, and she seems to know everyone in the field!
I wanted to express in writing how grateful I am for how you handled both the purchase of my Somerset apartment and the sale of my house in Bannockburn. Your guidance on price for each transaction resulted in a quick purchase and sale. All went smoothly, efficiently, and professionally. I wasn't surprised, but I was pleased.
I want to thank you for the excellent service and support you provided me during the process of selling my home in Potomac. From our initial exploratory discussions to ultimately closing the sale, your work was professional and of the highest quality. Your knowledge of Potomac and the Merry-Go-Round Farm community and especially of the Dalyn Terrace neighborhood was invaluable. I found your working with Bart to artfully stage the home and your bringing in other experienced WFP agents for pricing consultation prior to listing to be uniquely value adding. You promised from the start that you would personally be present for all showings to appropriately screened and interested potential buyers, and you always were. Finally, your years of experience proved to be critical as you structured and navigated a purchase contract with some unusual features not to mention late stage pre-closing surprises.
No doubt selling a home with significant emotional attachment including an element of life transition downsizing, can be a challenge for an owner in the best of circumstances, not to mention during a once-in-a century pandemic. In the end, your empathy and continuous professional advice along the way got me through it. For that I am grateful.
After living in our home for forty years in Potomac, we decided to downsize, sell our home and move to a condo. We decided to use Marsha Schuman with Washington Fine Properties as our Realtor. It was an outstanding decision.
We found Marsha to be extremely knowledgeable especially about the greater Potomac area. First of all, she gave us some good ideas about some of the things we needed to do before we put our home on the market. Additionally, we were very clear with Marsha that we would not sell our home unless we were able to find a condo that met our qualifications at the same time. Marsha successfully did both.
Marsha went to work on our project with confidence, the ability to multitask, the patience to deal with all types of potential buyer,s and was extremely proactive. Furthermore, she showed an extraordinary amount of empathy, an extremely valuable skill. Having Marsha on our side made a huge difference. She found a way to get it done.
Our sincere thanks to Marsha and her team for everything they did to make this a successful transaction. Washington Fine Properties should be very proud to have such a valuable employee like Marsha, who provided superior expertise and excellent service.
Just a note of thanks for helping us in the sale of our house. We are especially grateful for you and your team's extra effort on our behalf. We know that you spent many extra hours dealing with contractors, inspections etc., since we had already moved to Fl. We are more than satisfied with the outcome, as we were with the sale of our previous home 20 years ago, which you also helped us with. We will, of course, strongly recommend you to friends and family.
I highly recommend The Schuman Team! Betsy and Marsha helped our family move into a wonderful house in the Fallsgrove community in Rockville, MD, community and also sold our house in Potomac. They made the entire process smooth and were very responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. They were always willing to go the extra mile and even helped move some paintings during the move! We enjoyed working with Betsy and Marsha very much and would highly recommend them to other prospective home buyers or sellers.
My husband, Andy and I are very pleased to endorse Betsy Schuman Dodek as one of the most professional and caring realtors we've had the opportunity to work with. She and Marsha Schuman were with us from start to finish, and beyond as we transitioned out of our home of 16 years. We count her as a friend and trusted advisor. We're very confident in our endorsement and highly recommend you meeting The Schuman Team!
